    Worth a short visit

Located in the town centre. Described as one of the biggest reclining buddhas in the world it certainly is huge. Not much else around but still worth the effort for a short visit.

Nothing special just a normal Buddhist temple

This is just a temple with large sleeping Buddha. That's all ! We were really disappointed after visiting this place.

Introduction

The Hat Yai Temple was constructed in 1917 in the city of Songkhla, Thailand. It is a monastery in Songkhla. The temple is especially large and has a Thai architectural style. Devoted to the world's third largest reclining Buddha, 35 meters long, it is very spectacular. The scenery in the area is beautiful, the air is fresh, and you can sense the solemnity of Buddhism.
