The Uzbekistan Church in Helsinki, Finland is cleverly designed with a strong Moscow architectural style. The interior of the church is extremely simple, and the paintings are all done by Russian painters, completely retaining the artistic style of the traditional Orthodox church. It is the largest Greek Orthodox church on Scandinavia. Its thirteen golden domes, and the quaint red brick faade, between the contours of Helsinki's city, highlight a trace of Russia's religious legacy in Finland. The conspicuous gold domes and red-brick churches are extraordinarily dignified, and the two large trees next to each other are in harmony with the church, which is a testimony to the infiltration of Russian customs into Finnish history. The Usbeski Orthodox Church was built in 1868. The deep red Russian style, which is full of splendid traditional decoration, is the largest Orthodox church in Northern Europe.
