Dominic.

Helsinki has a 100-kilometer coastline and more than 300 islands. The large central park and forest stretch out beyond the city centre... Suomenlinna is one of the best places to visit and the most worthwhile. I spent a little more than two euros at the city centre terminal and bought a ticket to Suomenlinna (the round-trip ferry sailed all year round, every 40 minutes for the ferry). Twenty minutes later, I was placed in Suomenlinna, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This archipelago base was built in the mid-18th century (when Finland was part of Sweden), with six small islands and a number of different themed museums. With friends, follow the Finns' rhythm and sneak around while you don't have to worry about time. The last ferry will return to the city from the island very late. There are many cannons of Russian rule during the vicinity of the King's Gate in Suomenlinna. Those cannons can be said to be the symbol of Suomenlinna, and they are still kept on the sandbank, and the cannons are so large that they can put their heads in. There are no tickets for Suomenlinna unless you want to visit the six museums on the island. Tickets are only purchased separately when visiting a museum. In the summer, you can also purchase a coupon for these six museums, valid for the entire summer (May 1 to September 30).
