Beautiful City Botanic Gardens BrisbaneFound an amazing running route in Botanic gardens located in brisbane City. The botanic gardens also runs along the brisbane River which makes the run a very breathtaking, scenic one. Especially in the morning, the park is filled with runners and cyclists with both path specially separated. The city boantic garden is city's orignal garden, there are several attractions to visit like the bamboo Grove with a collection of species of bamboo, cannons, sculptures, ormantel ponds, river frontage and even a fountain for photo taking sessions. But fret not, there are many farmers market popping up around the city, where one is located right smack in brisbane botanical Gardens. Most stalls opens at 8am, from selling of arts and crafts, too crystals, to freshly brewed coffees, local favourites like sausages, muffins, donuts, and even Asia delights like Vietnamese Pho, spring rolls, Cantonese food serving fried rice, even Korean food too! It's basically also a food haven! There is also a fresh grocery stalls selling fresh plucked fruits, vegetables and even flowers too! Spent half a day walking in this beautiful garden. Can take longer and there are two great restaurants. The bonsai/Japanese garden is beautiful. Can drive or walk near the garden (with mountains) and not all flat. There are small waterfalls (to cross bridges), desert gardens, rainforests, and very peaceful. Need to check the planetarium schedule on their website - there are cool shows every month if you are interested in stars/planets.
It is a very normal botanical garden, unlike the magic capital, which has many varieties of exotic flowers and net red attractions. The locals have a picnic on the mat inside, and there will be a band performing there on weekends, and the atmosphere is very good.
