Touring Australia, this stop is coming to Hobart, the capital of Tasmania. In the center of Hobart, I feel that the pier area and Salamanca Square are a piece of the pier area. The pier area is composed of many small piers. The Constitution Pier is the middle one, because there is a net red restaurant Mures, and it is also the first place that tourists will pay attention to when they go to the pier area. There are several fishing boat restaurants on the Constitution Wharf, just beside the pier, mainly eating fish and chips and fresh Tasmanian seafood, such as Bruni Island's oysters. At noon, many people bought fish and chips in small shops and sat on stone chairs on the side of the road.

Hobart is very lucky - to have an accessible harbour side which is part of the city. On lazy summer evenings this is where people jog, stroll, sit and have a beer, fine cider or wine overlooking a working trawler port ... in winter to marvel at morning sunrises spraying unbelievable colour and crispness in the clear morning air.
Constitution Dock is an enclosed--by rock walls and a bridge of the same name--dock along Hobart's waterfront. It's full of small boats, on-the-water seafood restaurants, and lots of seagulls.
Constitution Dock is a little sectioned off area of Hobart Dock that allows visitors to walk in and amongst the moored boats. In a row you'll find a handful of floating fish and chips restaurants. Try Mako Seafood at The Dock where you can inside or out. Delicious fresh seafood at great prices. Best enjoyed outside on a bench if you can fend off the seagulls!
