The ribs were excellent and the meat fell off the bone. They were a touch dry but very good. Would have given 5 stars except for the propensity to close early. They claim to be open until 5 but came once at 4:45 and it was deserted. So I came again at 4:30 and again deserted. I think they just close when they run out of food for the day. Which is ok if you know this and just come for lunch. Which is what I did when I finally got to eat their famous BBQ. Friendly couple running it. Food was very good. Recommended for Lunch.

Similar to the barbecue shop in the park, if you pass by, come and eat it. The taste is very good. The pork ribs rice is too delicious. The bones are left. The pork chops are very tender and the sauce is delicious.

This was recommended to us by our hotel concierge. It did not disappoint. The purple mashed sweet potatoes were great and the drinks were also amazing. Prices reasonably for fresh seafood.

I always go there for my favorite comfort food: Shrimp &amp; scrambled eggs and a side of stir fried bok choi or other green vegees and rice. I also enjoy their Singapore fried rice noodles and the buffet.

Sushi Shiono was recommended to us by another Kona restaurant manager. It was well worth the trip. Great sushi and service. The prices were incredibly fair, and the sushi was fresh and imaginative.

An islander friend planted grass for us and said that this house must try to say that the taro ice cream pie is so delicious. I stayed for half a year and went three times every time.
