Each time here is a delightful experienceWe had dinner in this restaurant three times already: in April 2013, March 2014 and February 2015. So each time in Hong Kong we are going there for a nice dinner. You better make a reservation in advance – each time the restaurant was fully booked. It has big windows so you can enjoy harbour view and in the evening you can see “symphony of lights” show from the 28th floor of the restaurant. Ambrosia offers a great choice of oysters (around 15 types). Most are from France, but you can also try some from the other countries. Each time oysters were delicious. The menu is also full of different dishes – mostly from Italian cuisine. starter platter for 2 persons is a good solution to start the dinner. The lobster was also very well done. Though the portion of lobster is quite small. The staff is very friendly and nice. No problem with waiting for service or food. Definitely will go there next time.
Date nite with wifeThis is the most beautiful restaurant in Hong KongOur door greeter treated us wellOur waitress Zoe is a superstarVery knowledgeable about the dishes and even though I debated and questions her recommendations she held firm I gave in and she was totally rightAmazing food and serviceGorgeous decor and view A must visitWe will be back
You pay for the great ambiance and good serviceLocated on the 28th floor of iSquare with floor-to-ceiling windows, but the view was partially blocked by the Peninsula. Food was nice, fresh oysters and juicy grilled meats. Staff was helpful, friendly and attentive, and blankets are provided for guests if you feel the AC is getting too . A bit overpriced, but you pay for the great ambiance and good service rather than the meal here!
Poor serviceMy customer took me here for dinner. The location of the restaurant is outstanding - on the 28th floor of the iSquare shopping tower. The views are over the bay, across into Hong Kong from Kowloon. You can see the light show at night from the restaurant. The decor is nice and very stylish - there is a grand piano in the corner and a guy was playing it periodically. This is a place to eat oysters and they have a large variety - especially from France. The menu isnt very extensive. I had the snapper over spinach and tomato puree. It was ok - the fish a little dry. The other guys had risotto and spaghetti alla carbonara which they liked. The guys also had some oysters. My issue with the restaurant was the service. It started out well - there was this high strung looking guy who seemed to be the head waiter and he was taking care of us for a while. Then it just stopped... Other people came in the restaurant and we were put on the back burner. The guys got the oysters qui...
