Great Food at a Reasonable PriceA very good French restaurant located near Sheung Wan MTR Station. The atmosphere is pleasant and the staff members are attentive. A set lunch is around HK$220 and a set dinner is around $450 which is considered reasonable for a decent French meal in Hong Kong. Chef Eric not only includes many seafood dishes on his menu – making this a good choice for seafood lovers. Dishes like scallops, rib eye beef, king crab, duck confit also show off his cosmopolitan style. What’s more, it is a social enterprise with its profit going to a speech therapy clinic serving the poor. This makes it more meaning to dine in this wonderful French restaurant.
Nice Atmosphere Matched by Good ServiceThis is a nice French restaurant with good service matched with good food. It offers for dinner a 3 or 4 course set plus, for those interested, 2,3 or 4 glasses of wine matched to the dinner meal chosen (at an additional price). The atmosphere is pleasant but not overstated. Service is very good and the food well presented and good to eat. Prices are reasonable for what is offered although be aware if offered a specialist beer you never ordered is left on the table as it is "open" you will find it on the bill. This is not the best French restaurant I have eaten at in Hong Kong but it is certainly reliable and offers good food and service in a acceptable and pleasant atmosphere.
Lovely Meal and great serviceAs a vegetarian I can often struggle to find something to eat. My husband found this restaurant and wanted to try it. When i mentioned that i was vegetarian to the waitress and asked what vegetarian options were available she was extremely helpful, gave me several options to chose from and spoke to the chef to make sure they could accommodate me.We both thoroughly enjoyed our meal and thought it was a wee bit pricey but worth it for the meal we had. Though the wine was quite expensive but we found wine in general in HK was very expensive.
Too priceyService was great and food & ambience were fine, but the price was just too high - I needed to be WOWED by the food and/or the ambience for those prices. That being said, price is subjective, so this restau is good if youre not at all concerned about what youre paying.
