The Tsim Sha Tsui Rosary Church is the oldest Roman Catholic church in Kowloon. The current building dates back to 1903, when efforts were undertook to build a house of worship for the Catholic community in Kowloon. During the Second World War and Japanese military occupation of Hong Kong, the Church remained untouched and still could continue its religious services. The church was painted with ivory-colored bricks and red walls, giving people a feeling of freshness and harmony. The arrangement of the church, with the solemnity typical of Gothic architecture, are eye-catching. Pay a visit and be sure to notice the beautiful stained glass windowing.
