If I was forced to pick a place for a staycation, I’d be hard pressed to find somewhere better than #hongkong. The skyline is among the best in the world in my opinion and I quite like exploring all the different neighborhoods and little places.
Victoria Harbour is a fun place to hangout. At night it can be chilly cold here and ideal for a chill sightseeing or just have a seat while overlooking the harbour. If you want some adventure, you can take the old sailing boat that is really cool. It’s like you are having a voyage in the old times. There are some restaurants around that overlooks too that you may be interested in. Very accessible from both sides of hong kong from major spots and some mtr stations.
Our dear Hong Kong
Where is the first stop in Hong Kong, of course, go to Victoria Harbour! Located between Hong Kong Island (Central, Wan Chai) and Kowloon Peninsula (Tsim Sha Tsui), Victoria Harbour is a must-visit for visitors to Hong Kong due to sea views and night views. It is also one of Hong Kong's most famous attractions.
Weigang, which is known as one of the "Three Night Scenes of the World", is the place where all the travels to Hong Kong must be played. Every night, the skyscrapers on both sides of the Victoria Harbour will be lit with colorful lights. It is very cool. More than 40 buildings are equipped with rhythmic music, and the colorful lights are dazzling.
Victoria Harbour is a natural landform harbor separating Hong Kong Island in the south from Kowloon on the mainland to the north. The harbor's deep, sheltered waters and strategic location on the South China Sea were instrumental in Hong Kong's establishment as a British colony and its subsequent development as a trading center. The harbor is a major tourist attraction. Lying in the middle of the territory's dense urban region, it is the site of annual fireworks displays and its promenades are used as gathering places for tourists and residents. The best place for pictures is the Kowloon side from where you can look across the harbor to Hong Kong Island.
