Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon is a very beautiful place, and there are not so many tourists here, the scenery is very good. It is especially convenient to come from Waikiki Beach, where you can enjoy the beautiful sunset view
Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon is a very large lake. The scenery here is very good. There are not many tourists. It is also very convenient to drive here. I did not see the tickets for the ticket. If you like it, you can pay attention to it.
Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon, Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon, its official name is: Duke Paoa Kahanamoku Lagoon, Duke Paoa Kahanamoku Lagoon. Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon is located on the southwest coast of the southeast corner of Oahu, Hawaii, on Magic Island, Kahanamoku Lagoon, Ala Wai Boat Harbor (Ala Wai Boat Harbor) The lagoon is adjacent to the Hawaiian Hilton Village, and the famous Rainbow House (the Rainbow House of the Hawaiian Hilton Village) is on the northeast side of the lagoon; the south of the lagoon is the western section of Kahanamoku Beach (Kahanamoku Beach), Kahana The eastern end of Moku Beach is connected to Fort DeRussy Beach, which was originally Fort DeRussy Military Reserve. A walk along the coastline to the southeast is the authentic Waikiki Beach (Waikiki Beach); To the south of Hanamoku Beach is the sea, leading to the vast Pacific Ocean. It should be noted that Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon is not Kahanamoku Lagoon. In fact, Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon and Kahanamoku Lagoon are separated from the waters of Alawei Boat Port and the narrow land of Alawei Boat Platform, parking lot and lagoon beach. Of course, the Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon itself is not big, just a small artificial shallow pond in the Waikiki area of Honolulu, and it takes only 20 minutes to walk around the lake. The lagoon is part of Henry Kaiser’s Hawaii Village Development Project, which was first built in the 1950s; in 1961, Hilton Hotel acquired Kaiser’s Hawaii Resort; in 2006, it cost about one Fifteen million dollars have renovated the lagoon, built a boardwalk, palm trees, and an island. You can swim in the Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon. It is suitable for all seasons, because Hawaii is like summer in all seasons, not cold or hot, suitable for all ages. It is worth mentioning that every weekend, there is a firework show on the banks of Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon in the evening. Each type of life has its own merits. One is mild and light as summer, and the other is as gorgeous as flames.
Beautiful lagoon in the heart of honolulu. The sand could do better but is an amazing place for families or an afternoon off. Just come and soak up the sun and dip into the nice warm water!
The Duke Paoa Kahanamoku Lagoon sits at the end of Honolulu and the start of Waikiki and is the lagoon that sits at the base of the Hilton Hawaiian Village. This is a Free spot for Hotel guests and Locals to use freely. I personally enjoy this location because it has a park like atmosphere and has free parking. It is close to many shops and restaurants and it is across from the Ala Wai Boat Harbor. This is the MOST QUIET area of Waikiki/Honolulu. This is also the location that Fireworks happen on Fridays nights around dusk.If you catch me anywhere in Waikiki, this lagoon will be the place...easy in, easy out of Waikiki...then I just head to the Chart House for some killer grindz and drinks after a nice day taking a dip in the lagoon and getting some sun.
