137***66Howick Falls (Howick Falls) is in the center of the town of Howick. There is plenty of free parking beside the waterfall area and opposite the market stalls. We visited in the first part of the morning (with suggestions from other locals on the way) and there was no trouble. There was a local resident who provided some insights into the local history, waterfalls and what should and should not be done, and provided some good general safety advice. The waterfall itself looks radiant, flowing smoothly, and the panoramic viewing platform brings this place into a realm of beauty, beyond the magnificent scenery. Friendly locals make a living at the market stalls, please wander carefully...without a doubt, this is the best part of town.
