Hualien City is a must-visit for tourists traveling to the Hualien-Taitung Valley. A transportation hub where you can enjoy the beauty of the Pacific Ocean, it is a good place to ride bicycles and enjoy yourself in a relaxing atmosphere. The place is completely suffused with artistic atmosphere, book shops and cafés . Add to this the pleasant scent and flavor of old-fashioned food and you'll find the charm of Hualien. The center of the city is the intersection of Zhongshan, Zhongzheng, and Zhonghua roads. This is called the "Golden Triangle" and is very lively There is a veritable forest of shops and businesses of all kinds. It is also a popular gathering place for gorments and gourmands.
Noel LauOne of the main attractions in Taiwan, Taroko National Park is a stunning display of the beauty of nature. A winding road cuts through the 19km long gorge, with some really narrow stretches where the wall of the cliff is only inches from your car. There are many attractions inside this national park, such as the ethereal Eternal Spring Shrine, Swallow Grotto, etc. And there are a few trails for those who are more active; among them the most famous is the beautiful Shakadang Trail.
lingliziOur car passed through Hualien County to visit the Tropic of Cancer marker. It is located in Jingpu Village, Fengbin Township, facing the Pacific Ocean to the east. It is in the shape of a cylindrical beacon and is white. You can see it from a distance. It is spectacular. If you want to take a group photo, you must leave a long distance. There are food stalls around the tower and there are public restrooms, which are relatively clean. It is a free attraction open all day.
PollyPLYanzikou is located in Taroko Forest Park in Hualien, Taiwan. It refers to numerous small caves on the cliffs of the canyon. The landscape is formed because the rock quality on the cliff is metamorphic limestone. The flowing water erodes along the limestone rock layer and eventually forms many small caves. Over time, swallow flocks in the valley built nests among them, forming the wonder of the "Hundred Swallows Valley", which is also known as the mouth of swallows... Now the swallow flocks have been taken away by the sound of cars and people, leaving only The next empty nests, but the steep rocks, cold mountain breeze, and clear water make it very comfortable to stroll around...Because of the fear of falling rocks, you need to wear a safety helmet when visiting the swallow mouth...

This is the right spot if you wanna go early in the morning to watch the sunrise! Make sure to arrive here at least 30 mins before the sun rises so you can also watch the beautiful colour of the pinkish sky. If you stay around Cisingtan beach, you can just walk up here. #happynewyear #beautifulsunrise
Taroko National Park in Hualien is one of the most famous national park in Taiwan. The best way to do this park is to get a tour, preferably private tour as you will have more freedom in deciding how much time you wanna spend on each place, though it is a little bit more expensive. We did a group tour but we didn’t have to spend so much time there due to the duration of the tour. We will definitely love to come back :) #happynewyear
