The average altitude of Haiyun Peak is 496 meters, and it is 20 kilometers long. It is the natural border between Hue Province and Da Nang City. The scenery of Haiyun Peak is majestic and full of poetry. Fengling overlooks the sea, and the mountains are surrounded by clouds in four seasons, so it is called "Haiyun Peak". There is a gate on the mountain, which is called "the first majestic gate in the world". The pass on Hai Van Peak in Da Nang was the dividing line between Vietnam and the Champa kingdom in the 15th century. The two watchtowers on the pass, one is left by the French colonists, the other is left by the US military during the Vietnam War, which seems to tell the two sad history of Vietnam. The Panshan Highway in Haiyunling and the Linggu Beach along the road were once selected as one of the 50 places to visit in life by National Geographic.
