We chose a hotel near Shuangyue Bay. There are many hotels there, basically all are sea view rooms. It's very cheap in the off-season. We booked a large three-person room with a balcony where you can see the sea, overall very comfortable.
We arrived at the hotel at two o'clock that day, so we just ordered a takeaway to eat!! There are mostly seafood restaurants there, so be careful to ask the price in advance to avoid being ripped off.
The afternoon itinerary is the beach under the hotel.

The surrounding Sea Turtle Bay is a fresh and romantic place known as the "Little Kenting of Guangdong", with a parking lot at the entrance and a ticket price of 30 yuan. It is about a 20-minute drive from the viewing platform to the Sunrise Reef Bar, with a ticket price of 128 yuan. When you get up early in the morning to watch the sunrise, there is usually no one checking tickets, so you can enter directly, and it is also suitable for taking pictures.
🔍Navigation: The Double Moon Bay viewing platform has a parking lot, and you can reach it along a half-hour uphill road, or you can choose to ride a motorcycle up the mountain (the cost is 15 yuan).

Shuangyue bay or popularly known as the Double Moon Bay beach paradise is the most visited holiday beach around Huizhou.
Great beach and surfers waves. Very family friendly environment. Tens of big and small hotels around the area. Restaurants and coffee shops in every corner. (You wont starve at all)...
To get there, from Shenzhen, we took a didi ride for a 2 and 1/2 hours travel., around 100km (just my own preference to travel conveniently)
But if you want, you can take a train from Shenzhen North to Huidong, then take a taxi ride to Double Moon Bay.

Within a stones through of the apartment complex are a variety of eateries which are very affordable. Head west along the coast and there is a flat coast path which leads to another beach, bikes are available to rent or you can walk with the dog.
China isn't always accommodating with dogs, but this place really is and it was so much fun.

The truth in Silver beach
Nice beach to spend the afternoon in, in the evening is so crowded EVERYDAY! People from nearby hotels and locals go to this public beach and, tbh, they throw trash in the sea 🤢 so you will find a lot of everything. It's so disappointing that they don't take care of the few spaces there are to swim in. The beach is not crystal clear but good enough to spend a little while. You have to pay from 40-50 RMB to sit under those umbrellas, that's the business, the expensive hotel 碧桂园酒店 doesn't provide it even if you are their guest. #beachlife
Oh and you can find quite enough places to eat or drink something at night, in both sides of the beach 🤩

Hygiene: The hygiene is very good. Although the hotel is a bit old, the hygiene is still well maintained.
Environment: The environment is very quiet. I really love the balcony of this suite, with an unbeatable sea view. I also happened to encounter fireworks at night, the scenery is great!
Service: The service is very thoughtful. I arrived at the hotel close to midnight, but there were still staff in the lobby to help open the door and carry luggage. The concierge did not lower the service quality because it was late at night, and the front desk staff also enthusiastically introduced the restaurant.
The grand room and high-quality service really made me feel very satisfied. In addition, the breakfast until 11 o'clock is extremely satisfying for me who likes to sleep in. Don't underestimate this half-hour or one-hour delay, it brings a different feeling to the guests, hope to keep it up.
