There is this bakery located in the popular tourists attraction charminar, 20-4-1238/39, Charminar Rd, beside Mecca Masjid, Charminar, Ghansi Bazaar serves insanely good biscuits and super cheap prices.
This bakery was established in 1993 and has been gaining so much popularity ever since, they serve chai tea in the front of the stall and inside of the bakery are loads of different kind of freshly baked cookies. Their popular cookies are the osmania cookies, it's one of hyderabad well known cookies that you can also find in other bakers here but heard that they are franchised outlet which doesn't taste as this original bakery here.
You have to make this place a #mustvisit when you are here, becuase it was so good that I got 3 boxes back home.

The Welcome Gates Of Charminar
Charminar is a popular monument in Hyderabad, and many will just admire the monument or enter into the monument and ends of there.
There are also 4 gates located before reaching Charminar where it is located in the North, south, east and west. They are called the Charminar Kaman, Machil Karman, Kali Karman and the Sher-e-Batil-Ki-Kaman where these are 4 historical structures located about 75m away from each side of the Charminar.
Do make your bucketlists trip a worth while one by going to these 4 arches to complete your visit to Charminar.

The Many Store Vendors with Local Food
Many locals and foreigners when visiting hyderabad will head to the streets of charminar located at Charminar Rd, Char Kamam, Ghansi Bazaar, Hyderabad where you will see a wide array of stalls not only selling apparels like Sari and clothing, or cups or souvenir but instead local food prepared by these street vendors themselves.
Of course, many will say that you will require a strong stomach due to the unhygienic way they prepare, but what I recommend is watch them prepare infront of you instead or head to the stalls where most locals buy from and you will know these are the popular and clean ones loved by the locals here.
Most of the food sold here have prices on them so that you do not be quoted a foreigner price instead. So what are you waiting for, come to the street of Charminar in Hyderabad and make this a bucketlist experience like no other!

Four Minerats
The presence of Qutb Shahi dynasty is a true gift 🎁 to Hyderabad city, that they have put so many masterpieces in one place. The word 'Charminar' means four pillars in Urdu language 🗣 ; around which the whole city is planned during the ancient days. It is also built to mark the end of a plague that was long standing and crippling the local people. You can climb and hike 🥾 inside every minerat to see a mosque 🕌 or the nearest famous bazaar; a supermarket place. They have nearly 45 different prayer halls and a sacred fountain too at the center. There has always been some construction going on whenver I visited 😂. As I was mentioning in my Shepherd's hill series, there's a secret path way between Golconda fort and here for the King's escape during the tragedy 🎭 You can easily reach here using public transportation in Hyderabad city.

Shepherd's hill - part 1
It is quite interesting to find archaeological🗿 sites amidst the bustling cities and how they represent the sole history of the city. Situated around 9 kms from the downtown of the Hyderabad city, Golconda fort was once the capital of Qutb Shahi kingdom. At the entrance, there is a dome from where if you stand at the center of it and clap 👏 your hands it will reverberate to the top hill sending a warning signal of any impending danger ⚠️. Hiking 🥾around this fort takes almost a day for you and you have to be well hydrated considering the temperature of the city. The inner fort has lot of old remains of mosques 🕌, forts, and old statues. They have sufficient basic facilities inside this preserved historical center. Follow my next post why this is called Shepherd's hill 😉 #hyderabad #indiatravel #forthike

Tombs of the Kings !!
Wherever you see fort, then they should remind you that they have served an important part in the history. Also in the same way, tombs. Forts are generally designed to keep the king at an elevated position which represents that he is above all the people of his country; giving him an immortal status. These tombs play an important role in keeping that status alive. Like the mummies (preserved bodies of kings/queens) in Egypt, places were built for Kings in India. And these tombs come with such magnanimity and artistic work in that. Mostly these tombs are built when the king is alive, and the tomb will be of his taste (like nowadays buying that premium burial ground for ourself). Situated near to the Golconda fort, these tombs has bodies of kings who once lived in that fort. If you look from the top of that fort, you can easily see people coming at a distance of atleast 5 kms; which provides a strategic advantage against any enemy attacks. And later when the time is over, the kings are placed inside these tombs. Symbolizing life and death. #urbanexplorer #leaveyourmark #indiatravel #tombs

Lavish Life !!
Mughal's reign in India was considered as one of the lavish living lifestyle of the kings 👑. Like present day top shot celebrities 🎩, these kings have imported the best from west to middle east to africa to Russia to India. If you want to have a glimpse of what it feels like, then you've to visit Chowmahalla palace 💒 in Hyderabad. Situated just around the corner from Charminar, this palace name also means "Four palaces", from the Urdu word. Going by the name, it has four mahals 🕌 (palaces) Aftab mahal, Mahtab mahal, Tahniyat mahal and Afzal mahal. Aftab is the main one and it's huge. Spread over 45 acres of land, this palace totally take a day to hike 🥾 around and see some beautiful gardens🏵️🪴. The expensive things from the era of the kings are kept in the first floor of Aftab mahal, where it depends on the security present you can either take picture 📸 or not 😛. There were also some swans in the pond nearby. Never miss to read the inscriptions there, to get more details about the palace. #indiatravel #palace

Chowmahalla Palace, Hyderabad
Chowmahalla Palace in Hyderabad is a captivating testament to the city's rich historical and architectural heritage. Spread across 45 acres, this majestic palace served as the seat of the Asaf Jahi dynasty, and its name, Chowmahalla, translates to "Four Palaces" in Persian, highlighting its grandeur.
Upon entering the palace grounds, visitors are greeted by a mesmerizing blend of Persian, Rajasthani, and European architectural styles. The meticulous craftsmanship is evident in every detail, from the intricate carvings on the walls to the exquisite mosaic work adorning the floors. The palace consists of four main structures – Afzal Mahal, Tahniyat Mahal, Mahtab Mahal, and Aftab Mahal – each with its own unique charm and purpose.
Afzal Mahal, the grandeur's centerpiece, stands as a symbol of opulence with its ornate chandeliers, vintage furniture, and an impressive collection of artifacts. Walking through the halls, one can't help but feel transported to an era of regal splendor. The attention to historical preservation is commendable, as the palace showcases an extensive array of artifacts, costumes, and manuscripts, providing a vivid glimpse into the lifestyle of the Nizams.
Tahniyat Mahal, with its intricate stucco work and graceful arches, offers a serene ambiance. The peaceful courtyard is adorned with a fountain, adding to the overall tranquility. Mahtab Mahal, on the other hand, captivates visitors with its stunning architecture and well-maintained gardens. The careful restoration efforts undertaken to preserve the original charm of these structures are evident throughout the visit.
Aftab Mahal, though relatively smaller, is no less captivating. The meticulous detailing of the interiors showcases the cultural and artistic finesse of the bygone era. The palace complex also houses the Clock Tower, which stands tall as a symbol of the Nizams' fascination with European timepieces.
One of the standout features of Chowmahalla Palace is its sprawling Durbar Hall. This massive hall, adorned with Belgian crystal chandeliers and intricate Persian carpets, was once the venue for royal ceremonies and formal audiences. The sheer size and grandiosity of the Durbar Hall leave visitors in awe, as they imagine the historical events that unfolded within its walls.
In addition to the architectural marvels, the palace grounds are well-maintained, offering visitors a pleasant stroll through manicured gardens and fountains. The attention to detail in preserving the authenticity of the palace is noteworthy, creating an immersive experience for history enthusiasts and casual visitors alike.
In conclusion, Chowmahalla Palace stands as a testament to Hyderabad's regal past, providing a captivating journey through the opulence of the Nizams.

Rajiv Gandhi International Airport Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
The International Airport In Hyderabad
Finally it's my day to head back from Hyderabad to Singapore. The Rajiv Gandhi International Airport has very strict policies where only departing passengers are allowed to enter into the airport, this is not like where we can walk around in the airport in singapore or send people off. If one who wants to send someone off, they are required to pay a fee before entering into the airport.
Although being in India, our impression of the airport is the dirty rundown kind of airport but Rajiv Gandhi International Airport is a modern airport that is also currently expanding so that they will be able to handle more passengers in the future.
Do make Hyderabad a holiday destination as the country has been growing and improving in tourism ever since the lift of covid restrictions.

The Many Eateries At Hyderbad Airport
Arriving or departing from hyderbad airport and afraid that there might be nothing to do. Fret not, you should head to one of the many eateries located right outside of Rajib Gandhi International Airport called Aero Plaza where they are opened from 10am - 4am daily. And surpsingly, the later it is the more happening this place becomes.
You should make this a bucket lists to come here before you fly as you can dine in one of the normal food court, or the up class dining restaurant, just chilling and relax while watching the locals passing by.
There several options not only located on the 1st floor, but on the 2nd floor too! So do drop by before your flight!
