In 1958, 12 busts of Romanian literary classics were erected in the classical alleys, and in the 1990s some of the great Romanian writers of the 20th century were added. The open park in the city center is a place for local citizens to take a leisurely walk after dinner. Named after the Moldovan national hero, Grand Duke Stefan, there is a statue of Grand Duke at the door, and there is a bust of Pushkin in the park.
