The really beautiful Ettal church is free to visit.
The tall and majestic Benedictine monastery is still practiced by monks and is still in use. It is a gorgeous Baroque church. You must see the frescoes in the dome! There is also a distillery. You have to hold a bottle of wine before leaving. The bookstore sells many interesting books (in German).
This monastery is still worth seeing, especially its main church. The church is domed and has a very special shape. There are many three-dimensional sculptures of religious figures on the facade, and the interior decoration is also very complicated and not bad.
The monastery is like a quadrangle, surrounded by four buildings, with a church in the middle. Like a traditional European church, the walls are painted with oil paintings, pink and white walls, and gold leaf patterns, making it look gorgeous.
Passing by an unknown town on the road, such a magnificent church suddenly appeared in front of my eyes. We were curious and walked in. There was no staff except for a father and son who took pictures with cameras like us. Later, I read "Pig Original" again and realized that its name is "Eta Monastery".
The Eta Monastery, located in the town of Ettal, between the two mountains, is a magnificent and large building that still functions. The dome and the Virgin Mary are like the classics of the monastery.
The way to Lindhof Palace is to have lunch nearby, the monastery is very powerful and the chapel is beautiful, but there is no need to run for it
