Photos of Innsbruck

Innsbruck means "the bridge over the Inn", and the classic medieval architectural art nestled in a charming glacial valley is a unique picture of Innsbruck. The climate here is very pleasant, and the Inn River, which brings the snow-melting water from the Alps, flows through the city, taking away heat and bringing fresh air. Some people say that Vienna is the current capital of Austria, Salzburg is the capital of the 18th century, and Innsbruck is the capital of the 15th and 16th centuries, which shows the long history of this small city. It still maintains the style of a medieval city. On the narrow streets, Gothic-style buildings are lined up, Baroque gates and Renaissance-style arcades show the style of the ancient city. In the northeast of the old town is the new town of Innsbruck, where the Eagles Mountain once hosted the Winter Olympics twice in 1964 and 1976, which was recorded in the history of sports events.
