Interesting building
We were very lucky that the caretakers were there when we went, as it would of been a shame not to see inside, they told us a bit of the history its well worth a visit.

Lovely church inside even though it is quite plain. The Stations of the Cross are intriguing, I didn't bother to look closely but they look metallic and are of a very contemporary design.

Interesting footprint
Using a greek-cross footprint gives the square look to this Basilica. Very plain inside with a gorgeous rose window behind the altar.

Reminded me of the numerous churches I saw in Europe. Equally magnificient this.Right in the heart of the city, just a few mins walk from main street.
