This is actually a memorial plaza to commemorate those who participated in World War I, World War II, Korean War, Malaya War, Vietnam War, Borneo Battle from the southern region of New Zealand. The square is right next to the main road and is very easy to find.
There are several Christian churches, large and small, in the town of Invercargill on New Zealand's South Island. The church is built opposite the Warrior Monument Park. The monument is to commemorate the soldiers who participated in the wars from Nanda.
