A wonderful local hangout, a teahouse with a view, a coffee shop on top of the city. Camlica is, admittedly, a bit of a pain to get to from the major tourist sites of Istanbul. If you do make the effort, on a clear warm day with few other plans, be prepared to sit around chatting and playing cards for hours at a time. Do as locals do – slowly sip a strong cup of tea while catching up on news and gossip, people watching, or just passing the time as the hours come and go.
Located on the Asian continent, Camelika Mountain has become the most favorite wedding photo spot for local residents because of the beautiful view of the entire Istanbul city. It is also nicknamed Lover Mountain and climbed to the 267-meter-high viewing platform Bosphoru. The prince islands of the Marmara Sea in the Black Sea of the Strait...The Eurasian Bridge like a crouching dragon is in sight. There is a beautiful park on the top of the mountain. The pine forest cafe and restaurant are good places to relax~
If you have a lot of time in Istanbul, come here to have breakfast on the top of the hill, sit on the lawn and watch the whole Istanbul for a whole day. There were not many people when I went, it might not be a holiday. But there are still many people eating, because there are not many restaurants on the top of the mountain. I heard that this place is also Lover Mountain. It is really suitable for couples to date, and the view over Istanbul is still beautiful. If you don't have much time, you can ignore it here. The main view here is the entire Istanbul from the top of the mountain. There are no tickets here. It's a great place to take photos for free, haha
It's not difficult to get to the top of the mountain, but I think the scenery on the top of the mountain is pretty ordinary. I didn't see the sunset and it was not too amazing. There are two restaurants here and I chose one of them, and the price/performance ratio is not high.
