From the cable car to the top of the hill, there is a small cafe overlooking the Golden Cape Bay cafe, named after Pierre Lottie, which has become not only a tourist attraction, but also a place for local couples to talk about love. We just hurried by and took a cable car. Look at the scenery along the way.
Named after the Orientalist French writer Pierre Loti, admirer of Istanbul and an influence on Marcel Proust, Pierre Loti Hill offers a magnificent view of the Golden Horn. Populated by hotels and cafés all celebrating the name and the legacy of the author, this is a must-see spot for travellers in search of the exotic.
The Pierre Loti Café, named after the French novelist, naval officer and Turkophile, is famous for its spectacular views over the Golden Horn.
great place 2 be good food and beautiful place :)))))
The first stop to Istanbul is Pierre Lotty Hill, which is the best place to look at Golden Cape Bay. The price of the cable car is very cheap. It's a one-way trip of 3.5 lira. It goes up to the top in about five minutes. There are restaurants and shops on it, but there's nothing to stroll about. Because the hill is full of graves, we don't think it's good, so we hurry down after taking pictures.
Ah, Pierre Loti Tepesi, just a lovely place high on Golden Horn. It is the house of the famous French poet, who was inlove with a Turkish girl. The place now is a restaurant and garden with coffee shop. A bit expensive, but lovely and romantic. Near there is the old cemetery, which is interesting and peaceful as well and offers amazing views as well the Loti terrace.Recommended!
