The life in the old town of Jesmea is incomparably rich and colorful. People here live in the next door, living a simple, monotonous daily life. Walking through the old town, you can feel the rich ethnic customs of eastern India.
Walk in the city, life is simple and beautiful. People live a lifeless day, children play in the streets, cheers and laughter everywhere.
Jesmea, a quiet, peaceful city in the deepest desert of Rajasthan in northwestern India. Because the buildings in the city are mostly yellow, they are affectionately called the "Golden City" by the world.
The center of the street is surrounded by yellow lighthouses. There are very few people coming and going, so it is very quiet. Even as time goes by, the appearance of the building will become blurred, but it can still be seen in its ancient and meticulous carvings.
Jessamaer is the second colored city in Rajasthan that we came to after Jaipur. Since the buildings in the city are all built from yellow sandstone, they have the reputation of Golden City.
When the evening comes, the sun shines on the stone, turning each piece into gold, the whole castle is shrouded in a golden haze, and the people and cows walking between them are dyed in gold. Looking from a distance, the castle glows like a palace made of pure gold in mythology, reflecting the luxury that no one in the world. It is believed that Jessamaer was originally the palace of heaven, only because of the spell of the magician, and was moved to the desolate desert of Thar desert overnight.
Unlike other castles in Rajasthan, Jesmea's castle is very civilian, and now the fort is still full of residents, and the towering high gates are open to everyone for day and night. The living streets inside and outside the castle have not changed for hundreds of years.
Here, there is almost no colonial culture. Only the rich medieval atmosphere, hollow and curved techniques often appear in palaces and even villages. The native Hindu traditional culture and Islamic culture blend together to form India. The western special color is full of misty colors.
If you are looking for an adventure look no further than the #Thar #Desert in Rajasthan. I opted for a #camel ride among the dunes…on what was apparently the ugliest camel in the desert. ;) Upon arrival in the city of #Jaisalmer you will be greeted by a number of agents offering desert trips that can either span a day or a couple of nights. Do your research beforehand and decide how much you want to pay. Bargain down. #WinterGetaway
