The Jakarta Independence Mosque (Masjid a1 - Istiqla1 fi Djakarta) is also known as the Istiklal Mosque. It is the national mosque of Indonesia and one of the most magnificent mosques in Southeast Asia. Built in 1979. The mosque covers an area of 93.5 hectares and a building area of 93,400 square meters. There is a huge semi-circular top painted white on the roof, which is very eye-catching. Malaysia's major Islamic activities and ceremonies are held here, and Indonesian presidents and government officials often come here to pray. The main building is a central worship hall covered by a white large dome with a diameter of 45 meters. It covers an area of 10,000 square meters. It is surrounded by a five-storey annex hall with a spacious hallway hall. The entire building is covered with marble and has an area of 87389. Square meters, of which there are only 4,400 marble columns. The temple's minaret is 66.6 meters high and has a wide square lawn.
