Attractions in Jeju

Seated in the seaside of Yongdam-dong in the center of Jeju, the Dragon Head Rock is shaped like a dragon from mythology. It was formed in the sea from lava that erupted from the crater of Hallasan, and looks like a dragon's head. The part of the Dragon Head Rock above the sea surface is more than 10 meters high, and the part under the sea is about 30 meters. Not far from here is the Dragon Pool. The scenery surrounding the Dragon Head Rock at the full moon is highly praised.

The Lego Art Museum in Jeju is the world's first brick lego art museum. It is a unique space to enjoy, watch and experience all the facilities related to bricks. Among them, the Brick Campus is a place where you can learn about bricks, appreciate and experience the works of famous artists at home and abroad, and you can personally complete a brick work. And the museum introduces the concept of school and graduation, and you can experience the happy school life.

Baojian Street was previously known as Baozen Street, and before that Rodeo Street. When China and South Korea marked the 20th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations in 2011, the Baojian Group took 10,000 people to Seoul and Jeju on group tours, so the director of Korea Tourism Organization renamed the road in the business center of Jeju as Baojian Street to commemorate China and South Korea's friendship. Home to shopping malls, leisure facilities and restaurants, Baojian Street is a new business center in Jeju.

Nanta Show is created on the melody foundation of Samul nori ["four objects percussion"]. It is one of Korea's earliest Non-Verbal Performances. Nanta Show uses a big kitchen as its performance theater and shows four chefs' process of preparing a wedding banquet. The special feature of the show is that it has no dialogue. Any foreign person can enjoy the performance without being troubled by language barriers. The only things necessary to unite audiences and actors are expression and melody. Everyone can derive satisfaction, liveliness and fun from the carefree beating of the musical instruments.

The majestic Hallasan Mountain is located in the center of Jeju Island. It was said to be high enough to touch the Milky Way. The park contains a wide range of rare flora and fauna and geological formations. It was designated as a national park in 1970 and is surrounded by hundreds of volcanoes.

The Arboretum Theme Park Ice Sculpture Museum is a four-year standing indoor ice sculpture exhibition hall opened in July 2012. 365 days a year, regardless of the season, temperature, keeps minus 5 °C throughout the year, you can feel the cold and bitter winter at any time. The Ice Sculpture Museum displays teddy bear ice sculptures representing Jeju, tropical fish, and ice sculptures that symbolize the Year of the Dragon. In addition to this, there are igloos, ice slides, etc. in the Arctic Village, and various ice sculptures.

The Teddy Bear Museum has a collection of limited edition teddy bears from all over the world. The various murals at the entrance of the museum are all based on teddy bears. The museum is divided into indoor and outdoor sections. On the 1st floor, the history museum introduces the major historical events in the creation of teddy bears as a phenomenon. There are also many teddies dressed up in historical costume or as famous historical figures. In the galleries on the 2nd floor, there's a Teddy dressed up in traditional Korean court wear, and a 125-karat gold Teddy set with precious gemstones. Teddy's Forest is a theme park located outside the museum. The museum has fast food restaurants, cafés and bars.
