Biyangdo

When you arrive at Hyeopjae Beach in the northwest of Hanlin Port, you can see Feiyang Island at a glance. The name of the island means "Flying Island", which is a small volcanic island. Feiyang Island is close to Hanlin Park, Hyeopjae Beach, and Hanlin Port, and has a unique landscape. There are two crater basins on the central peak of the island. There are more than 80 kinds of fish species and various seabirds inhabiting the island. It is a famous place for fishing in summer. The area of Feiyang Island is very small, and the Feiyang Peak in the center occupies most of the island. It is the only village on the island that houses large and small houses on the periphery of the pier under Feiyang Peak. The typical double volcano of Feiyang Peak, the huge crater on the top of the mountain and the ancient unmanned lighthouse add to the flavor of Feiyang Island. There is the only wild Feiyang tree group in Korea at the crater. Although the altitude of Feiyangbong (114m) is not high, you can still see beautiful scenery from the top of the mountain. The summit of Halla Mountain and the large and small volcanic mountains below the mountain, the first-class coastal scenery, and the dazzling Hyeopjae Beach All within sight. Feiyang Island completed the construction of the road around the island in the spring of 2001, which can be used for hiking or bicycle travel. There is a stone park composed of many rocks and rocks beside the road.
