It is very cold and damp in the cave; water is dripping from the ceiling. Boots and an umbrella would not be in the way. Very spacious and at first it was hard to believe that it was of natural origin. The cave is about 1.5 km long and ends with a column of solidified lava. It's a shame that we go back the same way.

The cave is super long. It's beautiful inside. it's just that it is too dark. Not well lighted. Can't get a nice shot if your using your mobile phone. bring your DSLR cameras with you for nice photos.
A big surprised to us when we started entering the cave , it is very cold and likes a natural fridge , thanks to mother of nature. we rounded the whole Jeju island and visited most of the attraction. Manhanggul Cave is the only one give us a memorable surprise. Never Regret for travelling all the way from Jeju town.
As soon as I heard about the lava tubes, I was really excited about visiting. Inside Majanggul is a gest - a column of dried lava that's actually the tallest known gest in the world! It is quite a sight to behold. The tunnel itself is incredibly wide, very tall - not what I expected. If you're interested in geology at all, this is a really fascinating place to explore.
This is a lava tube, or channel that lava once flowed through and has now hardened into a cave. It is very, very cool to walk through, and a mere 2000 won.
