The birch house is well known in jerusalem, with its unique location, just a hundred meters from the jafa gate, and overlooking the old walls of david, where star chefs bring the bible to the table and recreate the food and drink of fish, mutton and beef with seven of the old testament crops. Except for the desserts are too sweet, they are delicious.

Food was good but the price was a bit out of line
The whole family was happy to eat in the wonderful restaurant in the holy city of Jerusalem. The chef is an Iraqi-born Jew, skillfully using Israeli ingredients to treat vegetables, Turkish spices to cook meat, Mediterranean seafood, occasional Chinese chicken pot rice, creative, every dish is delicious. I didn't expect dessert to be as good as the main course, amazing to find, chocolate Suffrey, cake, ice cream all featured, really great, the waiter detailed the dishes, the service was warm, far better than the five star hotel's superior restaurant. Although the location is not very well found, we don't think we can miss this restaurant when in Jerusalem
