Shang Gan Tang Village

Shanggantang Village has built Xiemu County government here since the Han Dynasty for 700 years. There have been 101 officials of Grade 7 or above in the past dynasties. Shanggantang Village is surrounded by mountains and rivers, with beautiful scenery and many historical sites. Buying Bridge was built in the first year of Song Jingkang. There is Wenchang Pavilion built in Ming Dynasty on the bridge head. There is a natural stone pavilion in the southwest of the village called Yuebei Pavilion. The ancient post road passes through the pavilion. There are more than 200 ancient houses from Ming and Qing dynasties in the village, which are very characteristic. No tickets are charged, and the play time is 4 hours.

An ordinary Yaozhai was turned into a scenic spot. It is not a holiday, there are no tourists, it is very peaceful and leisurely. It's okay to come here and have a look, but you don't need to come here specially.

Thousand-year-old Murakami Gantang. Located in Shanggantang Village, Xiacengpu Town, Jiangyong County, Hunan Province, it faces east to west and is surrounded by mountains and rivers. Except for 7 households with different surnames who moved in after the founding of the People’s Republic of China, the rest of the village are from the Zhou clan. They lived before the Song Dynasty. The biggest scenery of Shanggantang Village is the stone arch bridge built in the Song Dynasty-Buying Bridge, which straddles Xiemu River. Villagers often chat here to enjoy the cool, fetch water, wash clothes, and feed cows. Next to the bridge is the pole that existed during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty. The prestigious Wenchang Pavilion, one bridge and one pavilion are intertwined with each other, which is simple and heavy, and it is amazing. Not far to the south of the bridge, you can see the "Yuepo Pavilion" cliff stone carvings, which record the merits and exhortations of the Zhou family for more than 1,000 years, extending over the four dynasties of Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing. After more than 1,200 years, the stone road that runs through the whole village has been stepped out of patina and shiny. The Xiemuhe flood control wall in the second year of the Republic of China, the old site of Xiemu County government office, female lane, ancestral hall, shops, and wine shops still exist. Many people in the pavilion of Menfang go to the empty building, although it is dilapidated, the glory of the past is still faintly visible. You don’t need tickets to play in the village. Half a day is enough. Generally, you don’t live in the village. There are no special restaurants in the village. There are only a few small shops to buy water and snacks. You need to report in advance where you live. There are two folk customs in the village. Most people staying at night are photography enthusiasts. It is very close to Guilin Yangshuo, only 80 kilometers away. l

The ancient stone bridge to the northeast of Shanggantang Village—Shoulong Bridge, located on the "Xiaohe Ancient Post Road" and across Mushui, is the earliest Song Dynasty ancient stone bridge discovered in Hunan Province. It is about 10 meters long and 1.3 meters wide. Four pairs of piers, piers It is 1.85 meters high. It is made of four long pieces of stone and wood-like mortise and tenon processing technology. After thousands of years of ups and downs, it is still intact and provides convenient transportation for local people.
