In the old town of Jieyang. Because of the name of the three major temples in Chao County, I searched the past all the way. It coincided with the practice, and it was the evening, the solemn bells echoing in the courtyard and the pious chanting of the believers and monks, just to achieve the atmosphere of the Twin Peaks evening bell. It seems that the temple is not big today, the layout is regular, the buildings seem to be newly built, only the old tree in front of the main hall should be many years old.
Shuangfeng is located in the old city and it takes a short walk to reach it. It is currently under expansion, but the original temple is still preserved, and it is a Ming Dynasty building. You cannot bring your own joss sticks in, but three incense sticks are issued for free at the entrance, so you can go in for worship.
This is a historical and cultural attraction in Jieyang, but the current scenery is average. It is very good to look at the plan because it is being built to restore historical memory. The twin towers are still under construction, and some of the buildings are ready and open. Currently only half of the scene can be seen.
Shuangfeng Temple is being rebuilt and will become a new landmark in the entire ancient city in a few years. It has expanded from more than 5 acres to more than 15 acres. The reputation of the three ancient temples in eastern Guangdong has been restored. The Zen Painting Academy has been established and vigorously promoted the Chinese culture and art.
