Photos of Heping Island Park
Due to the influence of the northeast monsoon and the erosion of the waves all year round, the natural landscape of Heping Island is peculiar. Qiandieji: The tofu rock topography of Qiandieji is that the rocks are eroded by the tide all the year round and turned into square rocks. From a distance, they look like terraced fields scattered everywhere, which is a spectacle. Fanzi Cave: The Fanzi Cave is located near Qiandieji, and the cave is more than 20 meters long. There are ancient Dutch characters left on the stone walls in the Fanzi Cave, which has become one of the historic sites in Keelung. Ten Thousand Mandui: Ten Thousand Mandui is located on the rocky bank at the northern end of Heping Island. Many strange stones are formed due to the weathering of sea erosion all the year round, which look like baths, flower petals, dressing tables, etc. The stones scattered around are like human heads, so they are called tens of thousands of people, and the landscape is unique. Although Heping Island has been blown by the sea breeze for many years, algal plants (seaweed, nostalgic, carrageen, cabbage, goose cabbage, stone cauliflower, red moss) and marine resources are quite rich, such as leucorrhea, elephant fish , herring, yellow chicken, lobster, etc. will swim around Heping Island depending on the season, becoming a good place for people to fish. In addition, there are camping areas, barbecue areas, boating, aerial bicycles and other service facilities in Heping Island Seaside Park to increase the fun on the island.
