Echternach

The picturesque town remains surrounded by medieval walls, which were badly damaged in World War II but have since been completely restored. There are two main churches in Eichtnagh. The cathedral of the Grand Abbey, Saint Willibrod, is now a monastery in the eighteenth century, located in the heart of the city's historic centre. The other is the parish church of Saint Peter and Paul, the oldest Christian sanctuary in Luxembourg. It is next to Germany.

From Luxembourg City, it is accessible by car. The scenery along the way is beautiful. The town is by the river and the scenery at the foot of the mountain. The church is large and the corridor is like a university.
