Huihang Ancient Trail | The First Pass of Jiangnan
The Huihang Ancient Trail is a long-standing cultural heritage, starting from Fuling Town, Jixi County, Anhui Province in the west, to Maxiao Township, Lin'an City, Zhejiang Province in the east, with a total length of about 20 kilometers. The ancient trail was first built in the Tang Dynasty, and it is the third famous ancient trail after the Silk Road and the Tea Horse Road, playing an extremely important political, economic, and cultural role. The Huihang Ancient Trail was an important channel for the ancient Huizhou and Zhejiang merchants to trade, and it played a bridge role in connecting Huizhou and Hangzhou in history.
The natural scenery and cultural heritage of the ancient trail are rich, and the scenery along the way is beautiful, with the 'First Pass of Jiangnan', 'Yaoyaoling', 'Matouling', 'Xuetangling', 'Nantianao' and other scenic spots. It is not only a natural landscape belt, but also a historical corridor that integrates mysterious culture. The Huihang Ancient Trail was established as a national AAAA-level tourist attraction in 2011, and was listed as the seventh batch of national key cultural relics protection units in 2013.
Hiking on the ancient trail is very popular and is considered one of the earliest popular outdoor hiking routes. Due to its high viewing value and low risk, it is very suitable for outdoor enthusiasts. Hikers usually start from Jixi, enter Hangzhou from Huizhou, and can appreciate the historical charm of the ancient trail, and also experience the sense of accomplishment and joy of crossing the ancient trail.
The Huihang Ancient Trail is not only a route where natural scenery and historical culture blend, but it also preserves many ancient buildings and traditional villages, allowing tourists to feel a strong historical and folk culture atmosphere during hiking. The stilted buildings, ancient post stations, ancestral halls, and inscriptions along the way are all witnesses of history, reflecting the prosperity of ancient commercial activities and the influence of Huizhou merchant culture.
In general, the Huihang Ancient Trail is a comprehensive tourist destination integrating natural landscape and human history. It has extremely high value for studying ancient transportation, commerce, culture, etc., and it is also a good place for modern people to experience history and enjoy nature.
The ancient road in Huihang is worth a walk, the scenery is good, the interesting thing is to get up in the middle of the night to challenge Qingliang Peak and get a success 🏅 Life always has to do a few crazy things, otherwise it is boring 😐 worth it
I was walking halfway through Saturday, living in Xuetang, walking out for lunch on Sunday, returning to Shanghai for dinner. The difficulty is just suitable for the first time on foot, and the group is very happy. The autumn color on the road is so beautiful, there is a reed pond in the blue sky, it is very popular.
The parking lot is very large. If you like hiking, you can come here. I walked half a trip and returned. For half a day, it was mainly because it was too inconvenient to pick up the car by car. I could only go half a trip back, or I would charter a car at the door for about three or four hundred. The scenery is very good.
🔹 Huihang Ancient Road hiking the whole journey is 13km (pro-test, not 18km said by many online guides), there are wild fun, there are scenery, it can be said that outdoor hiking enthusiasts must punch in the ancient road, amateur players can also walk through. 🔹 You can wear it with good foot strength. Jiangnan Village enters, walk uphill 9km, reach the highest point of blue sky concave, and leave 3km downhill. The general recommendation of foot strength is to wear backwards, Yonglai Village enters, walk uphill 3km, and leave 9km downhill. 🔹 I am an amateur player, I chose to wear it back. ⭐⭐⭐ detailed guides and travel notes have been released on the homepage, and there are main ones to see. 🔹 Regarding the scenery, only the scenery of Shichating to Yonglai Village is good (there is a route on the map software), the scenic facilities are relatively complete, the rest of the road is relatively primitive, wild, and there are fewer people, but there are supply points on the road. For more details, see the Raiders I posted in front of ⭐⭐⭐
Travel on New Year's Day. From Hangzhou to Yonglai Village, then from Jiangnan Village. There are buses, but there are not many shifts. Hangzhou to Yonglai Village: Plan 1, Lin'an Bus West Station to the Bus Station of the Cheekkou Bus Station (only 1-2 shifts per day), and then the same station is replaced by 2935 Road (only 3-4 shifts per day) to the entrance of Yonglai Village. Plan 2, Lin'an Bus West Station to Changhua Bus Station special line (more shifts, if there is no fog, go directly to the high speed), then the same station is replaced by Lin'an 2912 Road / 2913 Road / 2914 Road to the bus stop, and finally the same station is replaced by 2935 Road (only 3-4 shifts per day) to the entrance of Yonglai Village. Jiangnan Village to Jixi County: Near the parking lot at the entrance of Jiangnan Village Scenic Area, take 601 (starting station) and 602 (passing bus) to Jixi County, passing the high-speed rail station. Personal feeling: From Lin'an Plan II, it was almost 11 o'clock to the bus station at the cheek. The latest 2935 road was 12:30. It was too late and I couldn't get down the mountain. I took a car appointment at the back, and there was no car at all. After waiting for 20 minutes, I was lucky that there was an online car-hailing service from Hangzhou to send customers to Daming Mountain. I couldn't pick up the order back to Hangzhou. I asked where I went. I said that Anhui and Lin'an were at the junction. As a result, before the car reached the end, it was prompted "Welcome to Anhui". The master said that it would be uncomfortable to go back by empty car. I said that congratulations on crossing 2 provinces a day. Let's have lunch first. In case there are guests who want to go to Hangzhou in the afternoon. I didn't eat lunch, I was afraid that I could not go down the mountain. I looked at the strategy. I estimated that I would have to go for 6 hours at a stable speed. The sun is shining, the temperature is about 10 degrees, not cold. About 1.5 an hour to the blue sky concave, there are many supply points on the road. I walked through the blue sky concave before reacting, and it is estimated that it is there. Because I look at other people's pictures in my memory, there should be a stone carving, there will be accommodation, but I didn't see the stone carving, it was very flat, there was a shop selling water and instant noodles, some people were just resting and eating. Maybe 2 o'clock to Shangxuetang, ate a bowl of noodles, dried meat and eggs 15 yuan, warm soy sauce soup, similar to the soy sauce noodles in Shanghai noodle restaurant, half-live state, not used to such noodles. About 4:30 from the first village in Jiangnan. The whole process was almost 5 hours. Usually walking speed, not very fast. The road is very flat and there are fewer stairs. The right knee is the old leg. In the last 2 hours, I encountered the lower ladder and it would hurt and walk sideways. The scenery is beautiful, the clear spring water is flowing, away from the hustle and bustle, only pedestrians. It is still worth this abuse.
Very good, I have gone for the second time, every time I go to the scenery, the entry-level line of outdoor people.
