Mehrangarh Fort tops the list of ‘must visit’ places in Jodhpur. It is one among the largest Indian forts. This invincible fort stands magnificently 400 feet above the city. Rao Jodha constructed the fort in 1459 AD. Though the attempt to construct the fort was started in 1459, the fort had seen many centuries before it was completed. Hence, you could find that the style of architecture represents various periods. #summerbreak Traveling to Jodhpur was an incredible experience! The city's rich history and vibrant culture left me mesmerized. The majestic Mehrangarh Fort provided breathtaking views, and exploring the narrow lanes of the Blue City was a delight. The local cuisine was a highlight, with spicy Rajasthani dishes that tantalized my taste buds. The warm hospitality of the people made me feel at home. Overall, Jodhpur is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking an authentic Indian experience filled with charm and beauty.#forthike
The most beautiful blue city in the world is like a fantasy dream! If you come, you don't want to go
want to explore Jodhpur, it is better to walk. Even if it is surrounded by the desert, it is still light and not heavy. The air is filled with wild chrysanthemums, roses and fragrant ginger tea.
Every time I meet a local person, if there is a four-eye connection, there must be a smile. "Where are you from? What is your name? Need me to help?"
is like a desert The mirage is draped in the misty colors of the clouds. In front of the sky is blue: lake blue, blue, pink, sky blue, indigo...
Tips: Blue City's homestay, which was transformed from an old house a hundred years ago, is suitable for the light color of the fresh department Dress. If you want to overlook the panorama, you can go to the rooftop of the roof or Melangal Fort, the best light around 5 pm.
Sleeping naturally wakes up to go to the blue city, India's blue city is not the same as the imagination, not the blue romance, but the cow dung, flies, dogs, sheep everywhere, really India.
The Meilangarh Fort is a bit arrogant and majestic at the highest point in Jodhpur. It takes about 10 minutes to walk up the hill from the clock tower or the Sadar market in the old town.
Walking in the old town of Jodhpur, its normal to get lost.

Umad Bhawan Pal ace
This huge building with 365 rooms built in 1929 was once the main residence of the Jodhpur royal family. It has a 26-acre garden with peacocks. One of the largest private residences in the world. Designed by the Chairman of the Royal College of Architecture for the princes, 3,000 workers took 15 years to complete. The marble and Burmese teak construction of the palace is very beautiful. The palaces architecture is relatively new, and now its divided into two. The part that can be entered has been transformed into a museum that displays the royal treasures, clocks and souvenirs. In addition, some of them still live in the royal family. Another part is the hotel. The museum is very small and can be finished in 20 minutes. The value of the museum is a collection of antique luxury watches. The hotel is only developed for people staying in the hotel and visitors cannot enter. According to the young driver who went to us, the plot around the palace is royal real estate. Currently, it is in the development of real estate, and many villas and hotel apartments are under construction.
Jaswant Thada Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Mar)
The mausoleum of Jaswant Thada Jaswant Thada
The first to enter the mausoleum is a large tree with yellow leaves, which is particularly beautiful against the blue sky. This is a very old and beautiful tomb. It was to commemorate the tomb of the Tubang King Jaswant. Singh II, built in 1899. Pure white marble, beautifully constructed. There are many tombs of relatives of the princes. Under the blue sky, noble and elegant. In front of the main building there is a lush terraced garden where you can escape the heat and look out over the distant Melangarh Castle and the nearby mountain scenery. I thought she was just a tomb, nothing to see, but did not expect it to be so beautiful.
Ghanta Ghar Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Mar)
The clock tower of Jodhpur can be described as a landmark building within a small town. No matter where it is in the old town, it can easily see its moving figure.
This historic building, even today, is still a fascinating architectural piece of art. Its shape is exquisite and chic. Next to the Shad market, it is even more crowded, lively and extraordinary, and it is fascinating.
