Red Rock Beach

Our accommodation (Mulan Resort - highly recommend) organised a driver to take us to see the red rocks, which was quite a long drive, about 2 hours both ways. We stopped at multiple viewpoints to take photos and marvel at the views of not only the rocks, but of mountains, rivers, waterfalls and beautiful autumn colors (October).

This is a magical geological landscape area. There are many red rocks on the riverbed. The reason is that the stone people are attached to the red fungus, which is a unique species of the local area. Once they leave here, they will change color and die.

The Red Rock Beach in Yanzigou Valley is located near Nanguangou. Nanmenguan is more than 2500 meters above sea level. A large redstone beach can be seen here. Because of the dense vegetation, the air is rich in oxygen and negative ions, there will be no altitude sickness. Red stones spread across the entire valley of Yanzigou, spreading for more than 20 kilometers, and scattered red stones can be seen on the side of the road from time to time. Regardless of the size of the stones here, they are bright rust red. In the sun, these red stones are very dazzling among streams, hillsides, and bushes. Once washed by rain, the red stones will become as red as blood.

Hongshitan is located in the Yanzigou River Valley outside Hailuogou Scenic Area. Red stones are scattered throughout the valley. No matter the size of the stones, they are bright rust red. In the sun, these red stones are very dazzling among the streams, on the slopes, and in the bushes. This is the most beautiful place in Hailuogou Scenic Area.

Hailuogou Redstone Beach is located at the mouth of the two rivers of Yajiageng, Hailuogou Scenic Area, Sichuan Province. The scenery along the way is beautiful, and the road surface is also very flat. There are red stones everywhere in the ditch. The water is swift and clear. It is very cold and cool. , No tickets when you go!
