Tagong Temple is located in Tagong Township, Kangding County, Ganzi Prefecture. Its full name is "One Seeing Ruyi Jiejie Temple". There is a statue of Sakyamuni who is the same as the Jokhang Temple in the temple. The Shakyamuni Hall enshrines the Buddha statue of Shakyamuni that was made by Princess Wencheng, as well as the footprints left on the stone by the Yuan Dynasty national master Phasiba, who used his magical powers to leave the temple, and a thousand-handed Guanyin about one meter high. The icon, this Guanyin icon was shaped by Princess Wencheng for the benefit of all living beings. The raw materials used to shape the icon were the sacred mountains and waters in the Han-Tibet region at that time and a lot of jewelry. The Avalokitesvara Hall enshrines the gilt bronze statue of Avalokitesvara with thousands of hands and thousands of eyes. It was built in 1997. The temple also preserves many precious Buddhist cultural relics and the code of Sakya, which are precious treasures that are rarely seen on weekdays. Every year in the middle and late June of the Tibetan calendar, the temple will hold grand Buddhist events and dance activities, which are grand and grand. From mid-July to early August, the Tagong Grassland will hold the annual Bazi-playing event, during which there will be folk activities, singing and dancing and other programs.
