Kaohsiung's Eye is Taiwan's largest giant Ferris Wheel. It is on the top floor of Kaohsiung's Dream Age Shopping Center. The Ferris Wheel is open from Monday to Thursday 11:00-22:30; Friday: 11:00-23:00; Saturday: 10:30-23:00. Tickets are NT$150. Not many people come to take the ferris wheel on holidays, from the high-altitude view of Kaohsiung City, sitting in the box can enjoy the Kaohsiung coast scenery.
The Kaohsiung Eye was built on the top floor of the Dream Mall. Next to the shopping center is a wasteland. After the grass is half-person high to the top floor, there is a small playground at the foot of the Ferris wheel, but all the neon lights are on and the game consoles ring. But there is not a single customer, and occasionally a few people come down from the Ferris wheel, and the whole environment is strange. Worth a visit!
The scenery is very beautiful, but I am afraid of heights and still have soft feet--it is said that the top is taller than the 85 building. You can also take pictures before getting on the Ferris wheel. But the photos are more expensive. Two pieces of 350 (RMB77) come with an electronic version. Of course, I still feel it is worth it. Worth coming!
Although Kaohsiung is the second largest city in Taiwan and is only one ranking difference from Taipei, it always feels that it is far behind Taipei. I secretly made a wish and I will go again. The dream in the fairy tale is probably realized when I sit on it.
