The predecessor of the story hall was the hit dog parking lot, and the parking lot was the name of the train station in the Meiji era in Japan. The museum retains the appearance of the old station, as well as the original railway information room, which displays the "Railway Bulletin" from 1951 to the present, and railway books and materials provided by the Railway Cultural Association and researchers. All the furnishings, tables and chairs present the scene of the station attendant's office. Railway staff’s hats and uniforms are also stored in the glass cabinets. Dagou Station is actually an old railway station near the West Bay of Kaohsiung Port. This railway station used to be an important freight terminal railway yard, so it has a large area. The Pier-2 Art District next to it is a reconstruction of the original cargo hold. It can be said that this area was born because of the former port economy. Now there is no train here, but there are still several train prototypes for tourists to take pictures and experience the past history.
Take the MRT to Xiziwan, and you will be at the Dagou Railway Story Museum. There are two parts: indoor and outdoor. The indoors is what the station looked like before, and the staff inside can give a brief introduction. On the outside, there are two old trains, plus the grass at the back. Good pictures. After that, you can drop by to the nearby Pier 2 Art Special Zone, which is quite convenient. The art center near the wharf and Pier 2 is the old Kaohsiung Harbor Railway Station that has been converted into a railway museum. Located in a large green park area, it is a good place for family picnics. There are several steam locomotives, several historical and more modern diesel locomotives, and countless electric cars on the tracks of the original railway station. Interesting metal art sculpture.

Savour these old things carefully, with a little emotion. There is also an old-fashioned steam train on the lawn next to the railway hall for tourists to take pictures.
