interesting shrine/museum. has many of the former president's memorabilia with a guide telling you everything. entrance is free. Aguinaldo himself is buried in the area at his shrine, and his house is certainly interesting to see with many secret paths and such.

The First House of Philippines President🇵🇭#timetotravel The Aguinaldo Shrine is a must visit for those people who are keen on learning Philippine's history as this place holds a remarkable event in history. This is where Emilio Aguinaldo (First President of the Republic of the Philippines) raised the Philippines flag to declare Philippines' independence from Spain in 1898. The Shrine is beautifully preserved and well maintained. It has all of Aguinaldo's memorabilias and antiques. It is really interesting to have a glimpse of the first president's life in this house now turned museum. Since this belongs to the government, they don't charge to enter this place however I reccommend you to donate. Have a nice visit! Inside the Aguinaldo ShrineOnce you’re inside the Emilio Aguinaldo shrine, you’ll see numerous historical markers that shows how rich the Philippines history is. On the ceiling of the main dining room, you would see the Philippines flag with 8 rays. Particularly, the 8 rays represent the main cities of the Philippines. Moreover, on the secondary dining room, you would see the Philippines map strategically placed as stones on the ceiling. You would also see the past photographs of Aguinaldo, the national hero, in his bedroom The bamboo finish of the furniture has a nice accent to the overall feel of the place. When you’ve reached the third floor of the shrine, you’ll have an overlooking view of the property. #historiccultureNicenicee7

Energizing Emilio Aguinaldo ShrineIf you’re looking for the birthplace of Philippines democracy, then you should visit the Emilio Aguilando Shrine in Kawit, Cavite. When the Philippines gained its independence on June 12, 1898, it was on this site. Upon walking and entering the shrine, you would see numerous Philippines flag placed in the walkway. The architectural design has influences from the Spanish area. At the entrance, you would still see security personnel wearing authentic wear from the era of the 1800s. Once inside, you would see the spectacular view of Kasi Cavite. The shrine was just recently repainted with white color. #historiccultureNicenicee18

The Aguinaldo Shrine at NightIf you're ever in Kawit, Cavite, stop by where the Filipino people declared their independence from Spain. It was on June 12, 1898 when the first Philippine flag was also waved from one of its windows (not the balcony as most paintings/arts portray) and the national anthem was played. It's also a museum but unfortunately, we weren't able to pay a visit that late into the night. #travel #itsmorefuninthephilippines #philippines #asia #historicculture #awesomepic #urbanexplorerbright views

this Historical site in Cavite is a must visit as it envibe the rich culture of the Himagsikan, and show glimpse of the first Philippine Republic.
The property which is adjacent to a river, was expanded to include Aguinaldo Park, a park in front of the house created for the Philippine Centennial celebration of 1998. The park with a long promenade and two long pools. Previously the house was fronted by a busy street. In the park is a bronze statue of Aguinaldo on horseback.
