Jungfernstieg

I’ve been in Hamburg a few times and every time I came to the same conclusion: it’s a cold, wet and unfriendly city. It’s probably just me, but if you like friendly and sunny places and enjoy the outdoors, Hamburg is most likely not for you (and me).

On weekends, Germans gather on the Girls' Causeway on Lake Ulster to bask in the sun on sunny days. The hiking trails around the Outer Lake are a favorite for joggers.

The Girl's Dike is located in the inner lake. The scenery here is quite good, surrounded by the high-end residential area of Hamburg. The Girl's Dike is not only good, but also one of the main places for many locals to relax. It is very good to drink coffee and stroll around the shops.

There are many sailboats in the lake and it happens to be weekends. Many locals have coffee and chat at the cafe on the dike. Very casual and cozy

In German, the city hall is called Rathaus. It is not the most beautiful building in Hamburg. Its geographical location is beyond anyone's reach. It is facing the beautiful Lake Ulster. It's nice to sit on Jungfernstieg at Girl's Dike and watch swans and fountains. It's great in Europe!

The Girl's Dike is located in the beautiful Alster Lake in Hamburg. There is a big fountain in the middle of the lake. The water is clear and the buildings near the lake are very good. It used to be named the Girl's Dike because parents brought their daughters here for a walk on Sunday. Now it is also a good place for shopping and walking.
