It was very shocking. Out of respect for the victims, no photos were taken in the memorial hall. I clearly understood how difficult it is to have peace in Rwanda today. I also thought of our country. The venue not only showed the three massacres of their nation, but also the world. The massacre in various places including Nanjing. There are gardens and tombs behind the venue I hope we cherish peace more and get better and better.
This is a great memorial that tells the story of genocide. At the beginning of the exhibition, it will show you the major events before the genocide, the days during the genocide, and the days after the genocide. There are some videos in the memorial to tell personal stories. You can also choose to rent audio equipment when visiting the memorial. The garden is beautiful and peaceful. There is a beautiful wall with the names of the victims. There are places where you can sit down and reflect. Everyone who visits Rwanda must come here to see it. In this memorial, there is a lot to learn and understand, not only about the genocide, but also how people were cured.
