What people are saying:

Killarney National Park is the first national park established in Ireland near Killarney, County Kerry, Ireland. Its predecessor was the Mockross Villa, which was donated to the Irish Free State in 1932. Later, the park was greatly expanded, and this national park is really too big! It has nearly 103 square kilometers (more than 100 million hectares)! Mainly around a huge lake: Killarney Lake (Lough Leane). The flora and fauna in the park are super rich. It has the only native red deer herd in Ireland and the largest virgin forest in existence. However, due to limited time, we were not able to tour the entire park carefully. We just stayed in a homestay near the national park and took a walk by the lake when the sun was setting. It was also an experience of this place.
