The house is being repaired, so it is closed to the public. Unfortunately, it is only mentioned vaguely in one section of the Parks Canada website-it should be clearly stated on the main page of the house. I went on Victoria Day and they offered a very cheap half-hour trip-$2.4 per person-which was great, because I live in this area, so I am not very disappointed. I booked a personal tour from Maya, Maya is professional and provided a lot of information. The house and courtyard are beautiful, and a lot of gardening work that is faithful to history is underway.
