1. Grundtvig's Church 🏛️: A breathtaking architectural marvel with ethereal light filtering through its windows, creating a profound sense of tranquility.
2. Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek 🏰: (You can add details about this place in a concise manner.)
Hey, and Hey, it’s Nyhavn🇩🇰.
This place is colorful, captivating Nyhavn is one of Copenhagen’s most iconic sights and one of the locals’ favorite places to sink a cold beer on a hot day. Originally it was a commercial port where ships from all over the would dock, and it was packed with sailors visiting its pubs, ale houses and ladies of pleasure. Intriguing 🤨 but now it’s been renovated and dominated by different types of restaurants as you walk beside the canal. #nyhavncopenhagen #restaurant #canalside #colorful #sights #copenhagenlife
Copenhagen Nyhavn📍
Nyhavn in Copenhagen is amazing. The ice cream is remarkably amazing. You can just spend the whole day long staying here to kill your time.
Nyhavn is definitely a picturesque waterfront district in Copenhagen. Colorful buildings, charming boats, and lively atmosphere create an unforgettable scene. Must drop there if you have time in Copenhagen. Foods were delicious too.

Nyhavn canal side town 🍻🦐🦪⛴️
One of my favourite place to spent a day in the Nyhavn and surroundings. Locals and tourists come here to relax, eat and drink one of the restaurants lining the Nyhavn canal; sitting outside in the summer is wonderful and indoors in during the winter.
Here are roughly about 12 restaurants that serve fresh seafoods and coldest ale beers. 🍺
There are traditional Danish lunch and dinner served here: lovely burgers, fish & chips, lobsters 🦞 are all on the menu along with two mixed platters and a wide selection of smørrebrød with fillings including herring, eggs with shrimp and salmon.

Rosenborg Castle Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Mar)
Rosenborg Castle 🏰
#timetotravel
Rosenborg Castle in Copenhagen is a splendid time capsule of Danish royalty and Renaissance architecture. Stepping into this magnificent fortress, I was immediately transported to a bygone era of opulence and regal grandeur.
The castle's interior is a treasure trove of art, history, and royal artifacts. From the opulent throne room to the dazzling Crown Jewels on display in the basement vault, every corner tells a story of Denmark's illustrious past. The beautifully maintained gardens surrounding the castle are a serene retreat, perfect for a leisurely stroll.
What truly sets Rosenborg Castle apart is its immersive experience. It allows visitors to connect with Danish history and the lives of its monarchs.
Rosenborg Castle is a must-visit for history buffs, art lovers, and anyone seeking to glimpse the royal heritage of Denmark. It's a place where time stands still, leaving you with a profound appreciation for the country's rich history and cultural heritage. #copenhagen #denmark
Rosenberg Castle Copenhagen
It was such a wonderful visit to Rosenberg Castle in Copenhagen, Denmark! Before visiting the Rosenberg Castle, I wandered around the Rosenberg Garden, also called the King’s garden. Very beautiful and huge. The castle itself is very beautifully constructed and I love those paintings and cravings along the wall. Inside you can see different ‘treasures’ that royal families kept 2 centuries ago. Highly recommended! #copenhagen #rosenborgcastle #Kingsgarden #travel

A 'once upon a time' Rosenborg castle 👑 🏰
Rosenborg castle is a renaissance castle located in Copenhagen, Denmark, and one of the most well preserved Renaissance castles in the world…Throne to the crowns, jewels, art treasures and the coronation chairs..This beautiful grand castle holds nearly 400 years of royal treasures, and the Crown Jewels and Royal Regalia. The castle was built by one of the most famous Scandinavian kings, Christian IV. Rosenborg Castle is just walking distance to the centre of the city and is placed next to the National Gallery and Botanical Gardens.
Tip: The entry queue can get quite long in summer, make sure purchase your advance tickets. You can also visit the palace as part of city tour of Copenhagen, or stop by while doing a hop on/off sightseeing bus tour.

In the centre of Copenhagen, you will also find the amazing Rosenborg Castle. The castle is in the Dutch Renaissance style and was originally built in 1606-1607 as a summerhouse by order of Christian IV. The castle is beautiful on the inside and definitely worth a visit. The castle also houses The Treasury where you can see the Crown Jewels, the Crown Regalia, the Crown of the Absolutist Kings and the Queens’ Crown on display. In many aspects, Rosenborg reminded us of Tower of London.
The castle is situated in Kongens Have (“The King’s Garden“) which is the country’s oldest royal garden. It’s a beautiful place to walk around and admire the view. Next to the castle you will also see the barracks where the Royal Life Guards are. The Life Guard guards the castle.

New Harbor Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Mar)
An overlooked romantic fairy tale kingdom | Copenhagen, a spur-of-the-moment trip
In July 2022, a spontaneous trip to Copenhagen.
As we all know, the fairy tales of Hans Christian Andersen, which accompanied us through childhood, originated here.
In a moment of impulsiveness, I bought a ticket for the next day. I departed from Hamburg, Germany, not far from Denmark. Since I couldn't get a train ticket at such short notice, I bought a Flixbus ticket instead, which took about 5.5 hours.
The fantasy begins here...
Got on the bus, after two and a half hours of driving suddenly entered a pitch-black environment, and we all got off the bus. After getting off the bus with a bewildered look, I found myself on a huge ship ⛴️... with duty-free shops, dining, and more. Opening Google maps, I realized that I was floating on the sea. So, blowing in the sea breeze, I began to make a travel plan...
🌟Highlight features:
1. Mermaid 🧜♀️
A bronze sculpture based on Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale "The Little Mermaid".
Every tourist will go to the place to take photos. I think passing by, the surrounding lake and greenery are very beautiful.
Address: Langelinie, 2100 København Ø, Denmark
2. Xingang
Copenhagen is a place of charm, with many beer houses and restaurants.
3. Organ Church 💒
Suitable for taking photos, a bit far from the city center, about half an hour by bus.
Address: På Bjerget 14B, 2400 København NV, Denmark
Monday closed
4. Qu Fu Li Park 🎠
Disney's predecessor, it is recommended to spend at least half a day here. There are fireworks before closing at night. The fireworks are beautiful, but the music doesn't quite match.
The park has a separate app that can be downloaded in advance.
Location: Vesterbrogade 3, 1630 København V, Denmark
5. Changing of the guard ceremony of the Royal Danish Guard.
Wearing a furry hat in the middle of summer is a bit ridiculous but interesting. The exchange ceremony in Sweden was simple and elegant. However, the grandiose parade with a marching band lasted for a couple of hours.
At 12:00 noon every day, it is recommended to write early so that you can squeeze to the front of the crowd.
Address: Amalienborg Palace (Danish Palace)
6. ❤️ My top recommended destination:
Louisiana Museum of Modern Art
Suitable for art and leisure companions. This is a place where art and nature blend together. It is also a must-visit spot for me on this trip. Two years ago, I saw an exhibition of Louisiana in Shanghai and have been thinking about it ever since. After visiting, it exceeded my already high expectations. It is located by the sea, and the art gallery leads directly to the ocean. After a tiring stroll, you can sit by the sea.
Distance: Far from the city center, about one hour by Re train or 40 minutes by car. Located in the coastal area of northern Copenhagen.
Duration: Suitable for a day of leisure, at least half a day. It is also very suitable for staying there for a weekend.
Location: Gl Strandvej 13, 3050 Humlebæk, Denmark
🌟Restaurant:
1. Captain H Chinese BBQ & Korean Bistro
Chinese barbecue! I was so moved because there is no barbecue in the city where I live.
The price is on the high side.
2. The Olive
Local internet-famous restaurant, it's best to make a reservation on their official website in advance. I made a reservation in advance, but because I met a friend from Denmark and decided to eat together at the last minute, there was no available seat to add. However, after negotiating and waiting, we finally got to eat.
🔒Tip:
1. After 10pm, all restaurants are closed!!! The open bars only serve drinks, there is no food available. ⁉️‼️‼️
This is an absolute trap. It took me five or six hours to get here on the first day, and the several restaurants I planned to go to were closed. When I started to settle for less, I found that all the restaurants were closed!! I walked for an hour or two and almost covered the entire city on the first night.
2. If traveling independently, all train tickets can be purchased on the Omio app. Subway and bus tickets can be purchased at subway or bus stations.
3. Many restaurants are closed on Sundays. Denmark has many Michelin restaurants with good value for money.

Checkinaway (@checkinawayblog) Magnificent timeless marble church Copenhagen
Frederick Church, also known as the Marble Church, is an architectural masterpiece located in Copenhagen, Denmark. With its stunning neoclassical design, it stands as an iconic symbol of the city's rich history and cultural heritage.
The Frederick Church was commissioned by King Frederick V in the 18th century as a symbol of his reign and a testament to his taste for opulent architecture. Construction of the church began in 1749 but was unfortunately halted due to financial constraints. It was only in 1770, under the reign of King Christian VII, that the church was finally completed, making it one of the longest construction projects in Danish history.
The church's design is attributed to architect Nicolai Eigtved, who masterfully combined elements of Baroque and Rococo styles in its structure. The exterior of the church is composed of Carrara marble, imported from Italy, giving it its well-deserved nickname, the Marble Church. Its elegant facade is adorned with intricately carved columns, statues depicting various biblical figures, and a magnificent dome, making it a true visual delight for all who behold it.
Upon entering the Frederick Church, visitors are greeted by a grandiose interior that exudes an air of grandeur and serenity. The central nave is adorned with magnificent frescoes and ornate stucco work, while the altar is a masterpiece in itself, featuring a stunning marble piece crafted by the renowned sculptor Johannes Wiedewelt. The church also houses a impressive organ, a true marvel of engineering and craftsmanship, which fills the space with majestic music during religious ceremonies and concerts.
While the Frederick Church is undoubtedly a marvel to behold from the outside, it also holds great significance for the people of Copenhagen. Over the years, it has served as a place of worship, a venue for royal ceremonies, and a gathering spot for the community. Its timeless beauty and rich history make it a popular tourist attraction.
Faith is being sure of what you hope for… 🇩🇰
The church was designed by the architect Nicolai Eigtved in 1740 and was along with the rest of Frederiksstaden, a district of Copenhagen, intended to commemorate the 300 years jubilee of the first coronation of a member of the House of Oldenburg. If you’re religious enough to pay tribute of visiting old churches, this one is really worth a visit. You’ll be amazed and mesmerized by the beauty of this beautiful church. #churches #churchlover #Frederike #copenhagen #biking #monument
On the first day in Copenhagen, after Lingbi finished work, she took the 901 train back to the city and then started walking to visit the main scenic spots in the city and search for the imprints of Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tales.
