Rating - 5/5 This is one of the islands that you will visit if you are on an island half-day or full-day tour! This island is usually the first stop as it is the nearest to Phuket. Some activities that you can do here can be swimming, snorkelling, jet ski (need to pay) or even just sit down or lie down on the beach for sunbathing and relaxation. When you sign up for tour, usually they will prepared the diving mask, just note that it is commonly used by others as well. If you are worried, you can bring your own equipment! Fish come to swim around you

Though it is small, it is incredibly beautiful. Kha Nai Island have turquoise water where a swarm of colorful and friendly fish come to swim around you. It was a wonderful experience to have witnessed such fishes just under your knees. Though even with great effort we couldn't catch a single one.The rock formations nearby are wonderfully made that would make a beautiful background for photos. The sands is so inviting so take a good tan. Corals along the shorelines are beautifully designed.Speedboats are beautifully line up in front of the beach.The are small bars where you can buy your soft drinks, coconuts and beer. 🇹🇭 Swim with the fish at Koh Khai Nai!

Koh Khai Nai is a small island which can be reached by speedboat in 20-30 minutes from Phuket Island. We visited Khai Nai during the half day tour to 3 Khai Islands from Phuket. The island has white sandy beaches where you can rent parasol seats at THB150 per parasol. Or you can just sit and relax on the beach for free. There are beautiful rocks of different shapes and sizes near the shore. The fish swim very close to the shore so you can swim with the fish. Santhiya Koh Yao Yai Resort & Spa

The Santhiya Koh Yao Yai Resort & Spa is very spacious with a lot of activities such as Thai dancing, Muay Thai, island tours, kayaking, paddleboarding, Thai massage, spa, fitness, kids club, cooking classes, yoga, etc. If you're staying, I recommend at least 3 days and 2 nights so you can try a variety of activities. There seem to be 4 restaurants, each with a beautiful view. The rooms are clean, fragrant, and the beds are very comfortable. If you're not booking a private villa, I recommend the upper floors of the 4-5 story buildings, which are close to the central swimming pool and the breakfast room with a beautiful view. We got building 3 which is a bit of a walk, but buildings 4 and 5 are almost no walk at all. The breakfast is quite varied, and the quality, quantity, and taste of the lunch and dinner meals we had at the resort are worth the price. The service is excellent, with every staff member being helpful, smiling, and greeting nicely. I was impressed from check-in to the check-out where they waved goodbye until we were out of sight. I give it a 9/10. I really recommend it to friends. 📍If you want to go to the beach or the fitness center, you need to use the shuttle service because the resort is very large. Overall, I'm very impressed and would love to come back and stay here again.

We were in Santhiya last year. We really loved the resort and enjoyed our vacation. The rooms were clean and beautiful. The service was great as well. The breakfast was amazing and they had various options. The view from our room and where they served the breakfast was fantastic. Overall we enjoyed our stay. There’s nothing I can complain about. We definitely will go back ！

Fabulous Holiday Destination in Santhiya, Phuket✨🇹🇭

This is definitely the best resort I have ever been to! We stayed in the resort for three days and two nights and the service, view and amenities were all incredible! Once we arrived our room, we were amazed by its scenery. At the balcony, there was an outdoor bathtub and we could enjoy the sunset and the sea view while dipping bath. As Santhiya is located in the woods, we could see wooden structures and miniatures everywhere in the resort which are exquisitely designed. There is an infinity pool located in the resort too. The pool is surrounded by sea view which creates a feeling that we were swimming in the sea without boundary! One of the most relaxing thing is that we could order drinks and enjoy them at the edge of the pool. Both view from the infinity pool and our room is beautiful. It is difficult to choose where should we stay during sunset. The breakfast and dinner buffet is also beyond our expectation! For breakfast buffet, there are a lot of choices and we can enjoy the breakfast by the sea with a five minute session of free massage provided. For dinner buffet, the choice is a bit fewer but the quality is amazing, especially the grilled seafood which is super delicious! Also, the environment is romantic. I can’t describe how much I love this resort and I can’t wait to stay here again in 2024! The price is also reasonable, only 2500 thb (breakfast included) during non-peak season. I hope to be back to Santhiya and I can experience that activities such as Yoga lesson and Thai boxing in 2024! #2024wish

such a amazing and unforgettable experience!! beautiful Villas , breathtaking view , great service and bed is so comfy. if you need a private peaceful vacation like you in a paradise this is where you need to be! also, there are lots of activities you can choose to do on the island ex. paddling, kayaking, spa, yoga, snorkeling and more. Living in the Koh Yao Treehouse Villa in Phuket was a truly unforgettable experience that immersed me in nature and provided a unique and tranquil escape. As soon as I arrived, I was greeted by the breathtaking sight of the tall, lush trees surrounding the villa, creating a sense of seclusion and serenity. The treehouse itself was a marvel of craftsmanship and design, built high above the ground amidst the canopy of trees. The rustic yet luxurious interior featured comfortable furnishings and large windows that offered panoramic views of the surrounding jungle. Waking up each morning to the gentle sounds of birds chirping and the rustling of leaves was a refreshing and rejuvenating experience. One of the highlights of living in the treehouse villa was the private infinity pool. Nestled amidst the trees, the pool provided a refreshing oasis where I could cool off and soak in the stunning natural surroundings. Whether it was lounging by the poolside or taking a dip while gazing at the verdant landscape, every moment spent there was pure bliss. Guide to Phuket island hopping 🏝️🏖️

Phuket has many islands, it might be intimidating for some to begin even planning on which islands to visit. I have 2 particular islands I love that are perfect for first-time island hoppers. This week on my recent trip back to Phuket, I re-visited Koh Yao Yai and Koh Phi Phi Don. For starters, I suggest booking your tours directly with the many roadside tour operators along every street in Phuket. They are extremely reliable, and offer low rates with tons of opportunity to bargain. Many even accept bookings less than 24 hours in advance. They also include round trip hotel transfers and lunch and/or dinner. Prices vary according to tour type. Koh Yao Yai and Koh Phi Phi Don are fabulous, and are each about 20-30 minutes away from Phuket by speed boat. If you want a more comfortable and less bumpy ride, I recommend opting for the ferry to Phi Phi harbor instead. Yao Yai has white beaches with lots of beautiful seashells and rock formations, while Phi Phi Don (1 of the Phi Phi Islands) iconic, has stunning blue waters, and great infrastructure (hotels, restaurants). Some tours have a pit stop in the open sea for snorkelling, I'd recommend people to do it! Stunning fish and corals. These 2 islands are a great way to have your first experiences island hopping anywhere in the world. They are beautiful, not too deserted, and safe. Your tour guides will take very good care of you. Big Long Island getaway

Ko Yao Yai, or "Big Long Island," is a 30-kilometer-long island in the middle of Phang Nga Bay that is halfway between Phuket and Krabi. Despite being only a 25-minute speedboat ride from Phuket's east coast, this long, narrow island surrounded by dense mangroves and white-sand beaches has managed to escape becoming another overcrowded island resort. Incredibly beautiful

Koh Khai Nai Island have become popular for its superb beaches and incredible clear water where a swarm of colorful and friendly fish come to swim around you. It's landscape makes incredible photos to take back home. During our stop here I didn't expect a crowd, but experienced it as visitors coming in and speedboats line up in front of the beach. This island is so pretty and so close to Phuket, it often is the first items on the list of islands to visit. Khai Nai island peppered with beach chairs and umbrellas where you can sit and relax for the for a while. Cat Island in Phuket Thailand

I went there on July 2022, Not many foreigner tourists mostly are Thai people but not many as it was. Some cat looks starving I had bring some cat foods with me, So I get theirs attention its comes around me for foods, some of them can pad , hug or rubbing their head. it’s super cute!!!!!
