"Kotor develops and grows by the cause of navigation. The history of Kotor is closely connected with the sea. Although the maritime museum is very compact, this three-story building contains all the essence and is worth visiting. The building itself is an important historical monument. It is the official residence of the Grgurina family who lived here, and it is exactly the same as the Italian architectural style on the other side of the Adriatic Sea. Collections began in 1880 and opened to the public in 1900. The open area on the first floor is not large. There are sculptures and some maps displayed. What is new is that there is a model of a terracotta warrior. From the stairs on the second floor, there are many cultural relics oncoming. There are nautical instruments, ship models, maps, anchors, guns, portraits of famous people, uniforms, restored models of historical scenes, paintings, etc. There are also photos in modern times. Basically, they are arranged in chronological order. From the Apennines in the Middle Ages to Austria, Russia, and Yugoslavia in modern times, the history of Kotor is basically outlined by describing the history of navigation. There is an exhibition hall showing the heroic deeds that took place in Kotor during World War I and World War II, as well as the story of the warship named after Kotor, and an exhibition hall showing Kotor’s unique maritime culture: selected from 12-year-old boys The little admiral symbolizes that the maritime tradition has been passed down from generation to generation; there is also a respected person as the real Kotor admiral, and now it has become part of the Kotor culture and tourism exhibition. "The Kotor city wall was first built in the 9th century AD and was not fully completed until the 19th century. The city wall was built on St. John’s Hill, surrounding the entire mountainside and winding to the top of the mountain. Visitors can climb 1,300 steps to reach the highest point of the fortress. , Where you can overlook the depths of Kotor city and fjords, this is a must-chosen item for local travel."

"The ancient city of Kotor is a small medieval city. In history, it has been ruled by Rome, Byzantium, Venice, Ottoman, Austro-Hungary, etc. In particular, Venice has ruled for nearly four centuries. No wonder the buildings here have a typical Venetian style. It is also described by Lonely Planet: The dreamy mountains surround the fjord scenery, as if returning to a well-preserved ancient town in the Middle Ages. Modern luxury cruise ships slowly sail into the harbour irradiated by the slanting sun in the melodious bells, giving people a feeling of time and space crisscrossing ancient and modern times. The beautiful view of Kotor Harbour is intoxicating! Kotor has two most attractive places, one is the well-preserved medieval city pattern; the other is the complete city walls and fortresses from the sea to the top of the mountain. Walking in the crooked streets and entangled alleys, you will feel that the area of the city seems larger than it actually is. After a 10-minute stroll, you may find yourself back to the original place. The best way to see Kotor is endless. Walk."

"Compared to the mini, 5 meters high, in the middle of the intersection. Finely crafted, silver glittering in the sun. Standing here for a hundred years, it still looks like new. At this busy intersection, it looks extra peaceful."

"The Gate of the Sea is the official entrance to the ancient city of Kotor, built in the 16th century by the ancient Venetians. Two imitations of ancient cannons are placed at the door, symbolizing the arrival of the ancient city in the Middle Ages. When passing through the city gate, you can see the exquisite stone reliefs of the Virgin and Child surrounded by St. Trevor and St. Bernard. The stone carvings are intact, but there is no protection."

"It's relatively small, but the stone-like building really looks very vicissitudes of history. I personally think it is really good, as if walking in the ancient city, looking at the ancient church, and reading a history book."

"There will be a reflection of the city wall in the moat at the door, and the scenery is particularly pleasant, especially when the sun sets, and Tito writes on the city wall, we don’t want other things, and we don’t give others our things."
