Kuala Lumpur Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Petronas Twin Towers Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Flying twice a year, Kuala Lumpur has had a huge impact on me
I've been to Malaysia 🇲🇾 several times before, mostly island-hopping, and my impression of Southeast Asia has always been 'nature'. Kuala Lumpur was a surprise; it's quite like Singapore and Hong Kong, more prosperous, with a high degree of cultural integration;
Many people think Kuala Lumpur is not fun, but I feel Kuala Lumpur is not a place for play, it's more suitable for eating, drinking, shopping, and leisure vacations⛱️. It's incredibly enjoyable, and hotels and rentals are really cheap; to sum it up simply: you can spend very little and enjoy a prosperity that exceeds that of Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen
The most satisfying points!!!
1⃣️🍜 The food is too delicious, leaning towards the tastes of Guangdong and Fujian, suitable for the constitution of Chinese babies, here are a few recommendations:
-Woo Pin Fish Head Noodle: The ceiling of fish head noodles, very fresh, recommended by a friend
-Sun Fong Bak Kut Teh: Both wet and dry Bak Kut Teh are delicious
-Jalan Alor: Followed the trend to go, but every dish is incredibly delicious, very worthwhile! Not sure why some people would say it's not good!
2⃣️ Hotel accommodations!
Almost every hotel comes with an outdoor swimming pool🏊♀️ and a gym! There are so many five-star hotels in KL that you can choose until you're dizzy, and those that offer views of the Petronas Towers at night are really worth it! Recommended!
The first time I went, I stayed at a friend's apartment, and I was shocked by the price of the apartment! Cheap...
3⃣️ Climate!
Who would have thought that the tropical region is not hot in July, and in the evening you don't even need to turn on the air conditioning. Just take a bottle of wine, sit by the outdoor pool, and be happy!
4⃣️ Culture
Kuala Lumpur is mainly composed of Malays, Chinese, and Indians, and you can see various integrations in architecture, cuisine, etc. However, since the religion is Islam, it is generally conservative. What impressed me was the Indian ladies on the streets wearing veils that only showed their eyes, each carrying Hermès and LV bags. I kept thinking about how their colleagues would distinguish them
You can also experience the old Fujian and Guangdong culture, many Chinese shops still retain many old traditions, such as handwritten menus in ordinary restaurants, which are still simply designed rather than a random piece of white paper
Beware of pitfalls⚠️:
1⃣️ Shopping: Many people say Kuala Lumpur is great for shopping, but I find it hard to judge, it depends on what you compare it with. Chanel makeup has discounts, many popular items from brands are out of stock, even if you walk into Hermès, you can't buy 🤷♀️, and the price advantage is average. Only a few watch shops I saw really had cheaper prices than in China
2⃣️ Internet-famous tourist spots: Places like the Pink Mosque🕌️ are worth visiting, the Petronas Towers are only suitable for distant shots, don't have too high expectations for most other places, otherwise....
TIPS:
1. Using Grab to take a taxi is very convenient, pay with cash!
2. Chain convenience stores like 7-11 and luxury stores can use Alipay.

Beautiful Hong Kong in my eyes
#hkthroughmyeyes Hong Kong streets are a vibrant and bustling network of roads that wind through the city’s urban landscape. They are lined with towering skyscrapers, bustling markets, and a diverse array of shops and restaurants. The streets are a reflection of the city‘s rich history and culture, with influences from both East and West evident in the architecture and design.
One of the most iconic features of Hong Kong streets is the neon signage that adorns many buildings, creating a colorful and lively atmosphere. The streets are also home to a variety of transportation options, including buses, trams, and the famous double-decker red taxis.
