The National Bank Coin Museum itself is modern, especially its iconic shell staircase. The exhibition introduces the development of Malaysia's currency, from the earliest barter to the discovery of various currencies, which also involves the monetary part of ancient China.
The National Bank Coin Museum has seven galleries on four floors. Children will like the Children's Gallery on the first floor. The other six galleries are Economic Gallery, Islamic Finance Gallery, BNM Gallery, Coin Gallery, Contemporary Gallery and Art Gallery.
