Kuala Lumpur City Gallery is an interesting tourist information centre with a collection of paintings and photos of KL’s history, plus miniature mock ups of famous city landmarks.Set in a 114-year old, colonial-style building just beside Dataran Merdeka, this free museum is great if you want to find out a little bit more about KL’s history. The wall with a timeline chronicling KL’s history is especially attention-grabbing: it chronicles KL’s origins in the 1850s, to the present.

Many travelers love to take group photos in front of the huge crimson carved “I LOVE KL” landmark that is located at the entrance of the Kuala Lumpur City Gallery. This landmark has become the LOGO of I love KL. Not only are free maps available inside the building as well as all kinds of travel brochures, there is still a collection of many interesting pictures, dioramas, and other materials that will teach you about the history of urban development of Kuala Lumpur. There are also a number of designs that can be photographed ~~ Aside from this, it’s also a good place to purchase fine handmade travel mementos.

Oh, this place is a must visit. It gives a classical miniature of both the old & new KL. The landscape & it's presentation, the skyline & every other exhibit is worth a watch. It made us see the future tallest tower to be built in 2020. The famous architect Andrew Lee did a good job in the design & display of his work.
This is a nice museum about the local area. It has a miniature city of kuala lumpur and a very nice gift shop and cafe.
